"Geronimo"

If this ain't Texas, I don't know what it is!   "Geronimo" is the baby and isn't he adorable?  Proud Mama is "M J".  Even though I am a native Texan, I didn't realize that Mama's had longhorns, too!  Duh?  Dr. James Reisman is the proud owner of these two!

"Bluebonnets"

                              6 x 8
                Acrylic on Cotton Panel
   Framed
                             $ 125

                              SOLD

My beloved Texas Bluebonnets.  I took the photo for this subsequent painting on a road trip through the Hill Country in Texas on the way back from the Martin Farm in South Texas.  I had never seen the Bluebonnets so lush and beautiful.  The red, whiite and blue against the lush green fields was breathtaking.

The patron that bought this painting had a hard time choosing which one she wanted.  She went home, thought about it and came back for this one.  It's very happy and colorful, much like it's new owner.  Other paintings are available at Random (formerly LamLe Home) in Inwood Village.  Shop and have fun!

Is this Texas?

        5 x 7
                    Acrylic on Canvas
                             Framed
                              $125

Lots of folks(including myself) want me to paint a little more "contemporary".  I keep going back to my own style, which is in the style of some of my most admired artists,  "The Impressionists", Monet, Manet, Degas.  It makes me happy!
